On my final photographs I went to hyde park to take all my photographs and these 3 were the best photos that I have taken. This photograph is a photo of the floor in hyde park showing all the leaves that have fallen from tree above during the Autumn time. The areas that appear to be more focused are the leaves right in front of the camera because what I attempted to do whilst taking the photograph was show all the different patterns on the leaves and the leaves at the front of the picture appear more sharper and more focused than the ones further on in the photograph. You are able to guess the time of day as to when the photograph was taken and in the distance of the photograph you can see blue sky which shows that the photograph was taken during the day time and this also shows that there is natural day light in the photograph. The objects that is in the photograph because it is showing all the different patterns in the leaves that have fell from the tree during Autumn time and this will also mean that the objects are repeated in the photograph and this also creates a pattern because some of the patterns on the leaves are the same. There are organic shapes on the leaves which are lines going in different directions on the leaves and some are not just straight lines and there are different numbers of lines on the leaves on the floor. The image of all the leaves that are on the floor isnt dimensional. There is depth in my photograph because there is just a pavement that carries on going full of leaves and there are trees in the background as well. If you touched the surface of the photograph you would feel all the different patterns and texture on the leaves. There are different tones from dark to light all the darkness in the photo is all the leaves that are all dark colours such as brown and black from the autumn.
Technical
The type of lighting that is in my photograph is daylight because that was the time of day that the photograph was taken there is no additional lighting used on the camera I used flash on the camera to help being out the lighting and bring out the colour on the leaves. The lens and camera that I used to take my photo was a Cannon 1000D. I have used the depth of field in this photograph to blur out some of the leaves that are further on in the photo and some of the trees in the background to bring out some of the patterns in the leaves and show the texture in the leaves as well I also haven't used any shutter speed in my photograph such as my motion blur, panning or over or under exposed. The ISO setting for this photograph is 200. I haven't had to add anything else such as contrast to the photo I didn't think I needed to put this photo into Photoshop because I really liked the photo how it was.
Contextual
The place and time that this photograph was taken was around 10am in the morning and it was local I had taken all my nature photographs in Hyde park because it was a really nice park to take photographs and there were some really nice nature and plants in that park and I thought I could take some really nice photographs in Hyde park. The tools and equipment that were used whilst I was taking these photographs were a Cannon 100D because I thought that this camera would be the best one to take pictures on in HD quality. Firstly I was planning on doing fashion photography as well as architecture and graffiti and the photographers I researched was Nick Parkinson, Nick Knight and David Royston they were my inspiration for doing fashion photography and I looked at some of there exhibitions and some photographs on the internet but in the end I changed my mind and decided that It would be better if I chose to do nature photograph. What I feel when I look at this certain image is that it brings out a lot of different patterns in the leaves when its Autumn and also different textures on the leaves and this brings out the colours as well because some of the leaves were black and some were brown. The theories of mind are because it is nature and its a forest this could symbolise freedom to animals and insects also another theory could be that with it being a park this could symbolise peace and quiet a place to go and just relax and forget about everything.
Connections
The connections that I can make with my previous knowledge is that they are similar to ones that I have looked at on the internet although before considering doing nature I looked at fashion but I decided to change my mind and do nature. The relationships that I can make with other photographs are that I have looked at some exhibition on google from different artists and they all inspired me to take similar photos. The views that this image gives is that it shows how different leaves look when they are close up in the Autumn and all the photographs that I have taken may inspire other people to take photographs of nature. Looking at different photos has inspired me into taking these photographs and this has developed my work even further and when taking these photographs because I have taken in consideration all the different colours and all the different surroundings in the photos. What I have learnt from taking photos of nature is that nature can be very interesting when taking pictures during the Autumn time and you can see all the different patterns on the leaves which is what interests me the most.
Visual
The area that appear clearer and sharper are the grass further on in the background and all the trees in the background as I wanted to take a different approach when taking this photograph to my other one with all the leaves blurred out and showing more of the trees and the grass. You can guess the time of day with this photograph because you can see the clear blue sky in the distance behind the trees in Hyde park and there is natural light in the photograph and there has been no editing to suggest there is ant artificial lighting in this particular photograph. The lines that are dominant in the image are the different strands and lengths of grass all stand out and they are straight and curved lines this photograph is to show all the different textures in the grass and with the leaves just sitting on top you can see some of the texture in there. There is repetition in this photograph with all the leaves that are in there with some being the same colours but no pattern is created because they are all not in line there are some the same colours but are not in line with each other. There are no geometric shapes in this photograph but there are organic shapes in the photograph of leaves that are on top of the gras there are also trees in the background and they relate to each other because leaves, trees and grass are all part of nature that is how they relate to each other. If you touched the surface of the photograph you would feel all the different patterns and texture on the leaves and all the different patterns that are on the grass. There was no cropping or framing in this photograph but I did use the rule of thirds to create a better image. The ISO speed setting is 150.

These are the 3 photos that I will be using for my Nature Portfolio because I really like the close ups and all the texture and patterns in the photographs. I had the idea to edit up all of my photographs in photoshop but because of how much I liked the photographs I decided to do no editing on them.
